The Gonen FD Rescue Department provides professional services for life preservation, incident stabilization and property conservation.
We protect life and property through fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous material management, technical rescue, fire prevention, disaster preparedness, public education and community risk reduction.
The effective delivery of these services is achieved through a commitment to our employees and the community.

Gonen FD Rescue Code of Ethics
As a Gonen Rescue Firefighter, I will conduct myself in a manner that reflects positively on the Gonen FD Resuce Department and the Gonen Corporation, whether on or off duty. I will perform my duties with bravery, competence, loyalty, respect, and compassion. I recognize that I serve in a position of public trust, and I will not betray that trust.
I will strive to preserve the lives and property of the citizens of Gonen, and I will stay alert for the safety and welfare of my fellow firefighters. I will endeavor to protect their lives as I do my own.
I will not discredit my profession by participating in any act that conflicts with my official position or creates the perception of impropriety, and I will not propose or accept personal rewards or special privileges that involve a conflict of interest. I will practice the efficient use of public resources, and use information obtained by virtue of my position, confidential or otherwise, only for the benefit of those I am trusted to serve.
I will not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, age, gender, sexual preference, or mental or physical ability, and I will be truthful, professional, dignified, and fair with my fellow firefighters and the citizens I serve.
